There are two types of cardiovascular exercise, continuous and intermittent cardio workout.

First training means exercising for a prolonged period without a death or at the pace you break with a lower intensity over a longer period, so intermittent cardio workout. I personally use Albert Park Lake circuit as a continuous cardiovascular exercise. The 5.3 miles to a lap of the lake to do and to jog or walk at a steady pace for as long as I can to make it in one continuous motion without stopping or slacken the pace.

Intermittent high-intensity cardiovascular exercise is training for a period or a possible break in the intensity of training for a period and then increase intensity again. An example might be to go for 3 minutes at a quick pass and then slow jogging or walking for 2 minutes, then increase the rate another 3 minutes. This allows your body to have some recovery time before the next high intensity cardio exercises.

Cardiovascular exercise is great for mounting of mind and body. It allows us to put ourselves in so many positive ways. It really does not matter if we swim in a pool, take a jog or walk, or go to a personal trainer. A healthy mind and body is all that really counts.
